Ms. Lynn W. Ngugi

Senior Partner

Lynn is the Co-founder and senior partner of A.N.O Advocates LLP. She is a certified Arbitrator with the Chartered institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Commissioner for Oaths and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Sheffield in England. She practices in both the Real estate and corporate and commercial law department. Lynn specializes in advising entrepreneurs and high-net worth individuals on their business interests. She has successfully handled cross-border commercial transactions worth billions. Lynn has an established record in delivering expert legal advice for corporations, government organisations, non-profit organizations, and individual clients covering an array of issues but not limited to; Regulatory and compliance, family law, constitutional law, Arbitration, international law matters among others. Skilled at negotiating complex legal issues, developing and effectively communicating legal solutions to resolve problems faced by clients as well as adeptly undertaking due diligence

Lynn advises clients on financing and corporate matters. She has a broad experience in banking and finance matters including general corporate and individual lending, property finance, asset finance and acquisition finance. She advises on a whole range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, and private equity transactions. She advises founders, investors and entrepreneurs and the businesses they manage on corporate matters.

Mr. Okullo George Odhiambo

Managing Partner

Chris is the Co-founder and Managing Partner at ANO Advocates LLP and is assigned to the Dispute Resolution department. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from Moi University. He is actively involved in Criminal, Commercial, civil litigation and handling real estate transactions. Chris’s specialty is in pre-charge investigations and litigation. Chris has particular experience acting in high-profiles matters, including cases involving members of the media, the entertainment industry, professional athletes, politicians, and regulated individuals.

He has a renown reputation of always providing innovative, well-reasoned and commercially sensitive advice to every client on the firms portfolio. Chris has over the years advised developers on raising real estate development finance, financial institutions on perfection of securities and structured several large-scale real estate projects. Chris represents individuals and corporates across the full spectrum of criminal and quasi-criminal matters.
His practice encompasses serious crime and white collar matters: investigations (including interviews under caution and compulsory interviews), prosecutions and other litigation conducted by a variety of different agencies concerning criminal defence and police invetsigations, bribery and corruption, financial crime, money laundering and extradition. His cases often have an international dimension.

Chris also has particular expertise dealing with law enforcement applications that seek to freeze or seize assets, including account freezing orders inter alia. Dealing regularly with high profile and sensitive cases, Chris is attuned to clients’ reputational needs and pragmatic in handling the media and devising strategies to minimise publicity.
